How can I make a reservation?
Have a lookin the calendar of the desired accommodation, if the period of your desired arrival is available. If the period is available send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or use the integrated form on the contact page. Please make sure that you write your e-mail address correctly, otherwise we will not be able to answer you.

If the accommodation is available and we can accept your reservation, you only need to confirm your reservation intention.
If you arrive within a few days, we usually do not ask for a deposit. For arrivals but 7 days or later, we will ask you for a deposit of 20%. You can pay us the amount by bank transfer. In this case, you will receive the corresponding bank details from us.
How do I know that my reservation has been confirmed?
Once we have checked the arrival dates and we have given you the confirmation of availability and price, you can accept the reservation. We will answer you in the case of a commitment within 1 hour with a confirmation of your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you fail to pay the necessary deposit in advance.
Is there a possibility of long-term stays?
Long-term stays (over 1 month) are accepted by us with reservation and are subject to various criteria, such as length of stay, arrival date, availability of accommodation etc. You are welcome to send us a request, which we answer individually.
What payment methods are accepted?
For Reservations we can accept bank transfers, Credit Card or cash on arrival. If you have a Portuguese bank account, you can also pay by Multibanco. Other payment methods are under future consideration.
How can I cancel my reservation?
If you want to cancel your trip, please send us an email with the subject cancellation [name, date of stay]. Should the cancellation be within 15 days of your arrival we will keep the 20% deposit payment. Should your cancellation be further than 15 days of your arrival, you will receive a full refund of your deposit within a few working days.
What services are included in the rental price?
The rental price includes the costs for electricity, water and heating. If you want to use the washing machine of the Quinta Reuffurth, we charge a fee of 5 € / wash (including detergent, softener).
For long-term stays that include an individual price, any costs for electricity will be charged separately.
Where can I find the current prices of the accommodations?
Apart from our own website www.quinta-reuffurth.com, we are also registered on other platforms. As there is a best price guarantee on some of the platforms, it is not possible for us to display lower prices (without commission of the platforms) on our own website, as otherwise we will come into conflict with the platforms. However, we guarantee that the prices on request from our own website are the cheaper ones. Can accommodation be booked with meals?
No, a meal can not be booked for a surcharge.
Do I have to pay a security deposit?
So far we have had only good experiences with guests, which is why we do without a deposit. For a long-term stay, however, a deposit could be charged.
How far in advance will reservations be accepted?
For the high season we accept reservations up to half a year in advance. Within low season 1 month in advance.
Is there a minimum stay?
For the holiday apartments we have a minimum stay of 3 days. Under certain conditions, this can be reduced to 2 days. The minimum stay of the holiday houses in Rogil is between 5 and 7 days, depending on the season.
Is it needed to bring bed linen, towels or anything else?
Our holiday apartments have bed linen, bath towels and hand towels. If you need more we will gladly exchange them for fresh.
The houses are equipped with bed linen, bath towels and hand towels, they can be washed if necessary in the existing washing machine by the guests.
How often is the bed linen changed?
The holiday apartments can get fresh linen once a week. The bed linen must be changed by the guests.
Can I bring and use my own sheets?
Basically, the accommodations are equipped with fresh clean sheets. If you still want to bring your own bed linen and want to use, you have the opportunity. However, we can not guarantee in this case that your covers will fit our beds.
Is there a garage or a parking space for my vehicle?
There is no garage. In front of the holiday apartments there are 2 shady places for your vehicle.
In the holiday homes you can park for free about 50m away on the main road.
Is there a hairdryer in the accommodations?
Each unit has a hairdryer in the bathroom.
How is the mobile phone reception in the holiday accommodations?
The mobile reception is optimal in holiday apartments, as well as in holiday homes and supports LTE.
Do the holiday homes have free internet access?
The holiday rentals offer all free and unlimited internet access. Nevertheless, it is asked not to download anything from illegal sources, such as file sharing.
How fast is the internet connection in the accommodations?
As the internet connection goes via LTE, the speed can vary. In the high season we have a minimum speed of about 20-25Mbit / s which can reach up to 50Mbit / s.
Which radio / TV channels are to be received?
In the holiday apartments we have Sat Astra 19,2E which gives us the most European channels for free. For the Portuguese channels we have DVB-T and receive 7 channels.
The holiday houses currently offer only DVB-T for 7 Portuguese channels.
Is it allowed to smoke in the holiday homes?
No, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the holiday accommodations. However, you are welcome to go to the terrace / veranda.
Gibt es einen Grill?
Unsere Quinta hat einen grossen Grill auf unserer Terrasse und kann von den Gästen verwendet werden. Wir bitten aber darum das sie die anderen Gäste, falls vorhanden darauf ansprechen damit sie sich nicht vom Rauch gestört fühlen.
Die Ferienhäuser bieten jeweils einen Grill auf der eigenen Veranda.
What kind of shopping are there in the area?
In the small town of Aljezur, as well as in Rogil there are different sized supermarkets. Furthermore, there is also the market hall which is open every weekday morning and where you get good fruit / vegetables, as well as fresh fish. Otherwise, the smaller shops are usually highly recommended, as they are not only from the locals, but often cheaper.
Which public transport is there?
Although there is bus traffic leading to other cities. However, this is not so often a day. It is therefore imperative to arrive with a (rental) car.
Which restaurants are especially recommended?
This is a difficult question, because it depends entirely on the taste of an individual. A good but not complete list of great restaurants can be found on our Environment page.
But we can highlight the Restaurant Pont à Pé, for which you have to reserve a table in a tourist season, otherwise you have to wait outside for a while.
How far are the beaches?
From Quinta Reuffurth it takes about 15-20 minutes to most beaches in the area. It is also worthwhile to drive a little further, as the choice of beaches is huge.
From the holiday homes in Rogil, the nearest beach can be reached in less than 4 minutes by car.
Are there any special services on the beaches?
As everywhere, tourism is regularly increasing, which is why there is often a bar or café even on smaller beaches. In addition, almost all beaches are guarded, at least in the main season. Surf schools can be found as well as the famous men and women who sell the little Balls, to recognize that they all call “Olha a bolinha”.
Is there a bike rental?
Although we do not have bicycles, there are some providers in Aljezur, including e-bikes.
How can I pay the toll of the highway?
If you rent a car, you will usually be told that there is an electronic toll collection system on the Algarve A22 motorway for which you can stick a small box in the windscreen to pay the fees directly. It is recommended to have such a “Via Verde” device for the rental car, otherwise you have to go to the local post and pay the fees.
How and where to dispose of household waste?
Usually, wherever there is a collection of houses, there is also a container where you can throw in your garbage. These are public, even if they are near a house. If you want, you can also separate the garbage. In Aljezur, Carrascalinho and Rogil there are 3 colored containers for plastic, glass and paper.
Do I have to show my personal details?
Since 2015, Portugal has required that anyone providing paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, exit and identification data of all non-Portuguese who use the accommodation. The data must be sent to the SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) by the property managers. For this reason, we leave a form in the apartment, which must be filled by the guests with personal information and information about their stay.
Is there a complaint book (Livro de reclamações)?
Yes, as an official and licensed landlord we have a Livro de Reclamações, which every guest gets upon request.
